Best dinner we had in Venice. The service was great (Laura was super kind and helpful- thank you!!). The food was amazing. Would definitely recommend.
Highly recommend! It is an unpretentious and tasteful (both food and ambiance) spot. We ordered aperitif, wine, sardines, funghi, seafood pasta, cannelloni, grandma's cake, every item was a solid choice and after a delicious meal, all came to be around 50 (being Canadian, it blew my mind). We took our time here because the ambiance was amazing on a December day. Lively but not loud, they get a continuous trickle of customers into the night, proving incredible service by the team and their rapport with their customers.
OMG I had the gnocchi with seafood (which I was skeptical because i like gnocchi with four cheese sauce) and it was incredibile, I also tried my husband’s plate i think it was octopus or squid and it literally melted in my mouth. The place is not too big but it’s cozy and authentic, prices were great for the food and the waitress explained the menu and gave us recommendations, she also spoke English and Spanish! Overall great experience!
Love their spaghetti seafood. And had tiramisu as our dessert. All are outstanding. Will be back to try other meals.
Service was great and they were very friendly. Small, but cozy atmosphere. The food was AMAZING, probably the best pasta I’ve had between Rome, Florence and Venice. You can tell it’s very fresh. Highly recommend.
Bacaro Quebrado is a hidden gem with a quaint and intimate atmosphere that makes for a truly special dining experience. The food was outstanding—the carbonara, scallop pasta with gorgonzola, and honey cicchetti were absolutely delicious. We also highly recommend the pistachio liquore and the simple yet excellent white table wine. The complimentary limoncello digestivo was a thoughtful touch that we truly appreciated. Loved this place and can’t wait to return!
Excellent Venetian food for reasonable prices. I had squid in soar sauce (sardines marinated with onions, raisins, pine nuts and spices in a sweet-sour vinegar) over polenta. Cocktails and spritz are very cheap, too!
This was a random find that was 1-minute away from our hotel. Best thing to ever happen our entire trip! We had to wait a little bit, but got some complimentary wine while waiting. We were fully ready to pay for the wine too! But I don’t think we got charged. We came for dinner, and only spent 26 euros per person for 2 appetizers, salad & bread, two pasta entrees, 2 glasses of wine, AND a large slice of the best tiramisu we have ever had during our 7-day trip thus far. The pasta came in large portions and was absolutely delicious. There is also no cover/service fee AND came with two small limoncellos and cookies at the end of the meal. Hands down, my favorite part of my trip was this meal. If someone says otherwise, I will punch them in the throat.
